Introduction

COBIT was first published in 1996 as Control Objectives for IT, has developed over years to become, with COBIT 2019, a leading framework for the governance and management of enterprise information and related technologies.
COBIT is a leading framework for the governance and management of enterprise information and technology. COBIT 2019 is a flexible, fit-for-purpose, open, flexible framework, and aligned to relevant major related standards, frameworks and regulations.
A successful adoption of COBIT 2019 ensures maximum benefit realization, from IT enabled investment, with
an optimum use of resources while keeping the risks at acceptable levels.
COBIT 2019 has been evolving since 1996 when ISACA
has released the first edition of COBIT framework. This course prepares candidates for the COBIT 2019 Foundation Certificate exam.
This course is designed to provide candidates with a practical understanding of how to apply the COBIT framework to real-world organizations.

• COBIT Stakeholders, Core Model, and the Components of a Governance System
• COBIT Principles including Governance System and Governance Framework Principles
• COBIT Design Factors including Enterprise Strategy, Enterprise Goals, Risk Profile (IT Risk Categories), I&T-Related Issues,
Threat Landscape, Compliance Requirements, Role of IT, Sourcing Model for IT, IT Implementation Methods, Technology Adoption Strategy, and Enterprise Size Design Factor
• COBIT Goals Cascade covering the Enterprise and Alignment Goals and their Metrics
• COBIT Governance and Management Objectives
• Performance Management in COBIT explaining the Capability Levels for Processes and the Maturity Levels for Focus Areas
• Impact of Design Factors on a Governance and Management System
• COBIT Implementation Road Map
